Stainless Steel 2PC False Bottom assembly is commonly used in a Sanke Keg converted for brewing. This comes with the stainless stand as well as the two piece false bottom. This holds around 2 gallons under the false bottom. When mashing add an additional 2-2.5 gallons to your strike water. This should not affect efficiency. The large area under the false bottom lets you direct fire the mash without worries about scorching the grain. If using with a pump to recirculate your wort the stand provides a solid structure so your false bottom will not collapse. The 16% open design contributes to better efficiency and a clearer sparge. False bottom measures 15 3/8" , fits most standard 15.5 gallon US sanke kegs. Made in USA out of 304 Stainless.
